THE FOUNDATION FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF FINNISH SECURITIES MARKETS ANNOUNCES GRANTS TO BE APPLIED FOR 2024

The purpose of the foundation is to support and promote a wide range of securities saving, the development of the securities market and the formation of risk capital for Finnish business through the securities market. The foundation achieves its purpose by awarding grants and recognition awards for research and publishing activities related to securities saving and the development of the securities market, as well as related study trips. Funded projects are typically related to the fields of finance, economics and corporate and tax law.

The grant applicant shall fill in an electronic application in the grant system. The necessary recommendations, certificates and statements must be electronically attached to the application, so that the applicant’s profile, achievements, plans and objectives are sufficiently clear. The annex including the research and study plan is essential, but the necessity of the other annexes is determined by the applicant. Applying for a grant is subject to a completed academic qualification.

The application and its annexes is submitted electronically via the foundation’s online service starting at the beginning of January and no later than by 29/2/2024. The applicant shall indicate their references in the grant system, and the references shall be sent a request of recommendation in connection with the applicant submitting their application.

Decisions concerning grants are aimed to be made no later than by May.

STATEMENTS ON THE USE OF GRANTS

The beneficiary of a grant shall provide the foundation with a written statement within two years about the use of the grant. The statement is submitted in the grant system.
